FULL MOON PADDLE SCHEDULE FOR 2008
Our Club will not be sponsoring Full Moon Paddles this year due to Marianne's busy schedule.
However, the Rental Shack at Peace Valley will be scheduling Full Moon Paddles throughout the season. Below is a link to their page with full description:
If you have an idea or want to organize a trip for our Club, please e-mail us at:
kayakclub@comcast.net
It will then be broadcast to our membership via e-mail and our Yahoo Group.
Weather permitting, we paddle the perimeter of the lake each Friday evening around 6 pm. It's not only great exercise but a quiet evening to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. Remember, when done correctly, kayak paddling is one of the best aerobic sports and not hard on the joints!
Location: Peace Valley Park, any of the 3 ramps on Lake Galena (Sailors' Point (N side), Boat rental ramp (S side), 24 hour launch site just W of the boat rental (gravel area)
Reminder for 2008: If you plan on paddling Bucks County water, you need a current Bucks County permit. You'll also need a State permit if you are paddling on State water systems...ex: Lake Nockamixon, etc.
(Most Rangers have the application forms with them.)
